7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:
7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge
Introduction of Officers: Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, John Hiser-Treasurer, Mike Cumberland-President, Jim Hacke- Secretary, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, Mike Ripley- Jr. Rifle/Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap
Treasurer’s Report: John read treasurer’s report.
Bills and Communications: None to report this month.
Pop: Steve turned in $36.
Rental Committee Report: Oct. 21st from 11 am to 3 pm.
Pistol Team: Steve turned $86. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays from 5 PM till dark. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.
Trap Team: Tom turned in $89.10. Winter trap league starts on November 5th. Contact Tom with any questions. Trap range opens every Tuesday evening starting at 5 pm for practicing. $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to general public, club members, and new shooters.
Black Powder: Mike turned in $841
Junior Rifle Team: Mike announced that Junior rifle is on a Fall break. Junior rifle will start up again in November. Shooting will be moved back to 1st and 3rd Tuesday’s only from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Archery: Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.
Fun Indoor Shoot: In Dickie’s absence John turned in $55. They will be shooting every Monday @ 1 pm starting in September. Everyone is welcome. Open sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.
Membership: Brian read new memberships and collected $545 of which $55 to maintenance fund and $475 to the general fund. He reported 117 new members for 2017 which brings a total of 458 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 640.
Old Business: None tonight.
New Business: Kim mentioned she would like to see the inside of the trap building get finished. Plans will begin for the 50yr anniversary picnic in 2018.
